In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, players can unlock a secret ending to the game by collecting three mysterious circles. See the locations for all mysterious circles in this guide!

Solve the Arlathan Forest Laser Puzzle
A Mysterious Circle can be found after completing a Laser Puzzle in Arlathan Forest. Players will have to activate and point lasers at targets on the way to the circle's location in order to access the item.
Solving the puzzle will grant access to the circle and a Timelost Hoard, but will spawn a Guardian of Secrets that players need to defeat.

Another Mysterious Circle can be found in the Grand Necropolis, at the end of the quest called Pinnacle of Its Kind. To access this quest, players need to complete the Restless Spirits quest first after recruiting Emmrich.
The objective for Pinnacle of Its Kind is to find and destroy The Formless One in the above locations. Upon defeating all three of its apparitions, the player may then go to fight its high dragon form in the Grand Necropolis.

The Mysterious Circle will be in a small room connected to The Formless One's boss arena, on top of a pile of golden jars and coins.
Finish the Heart of Corruption Quest
The last Mysterious Circle is obtained from completing the Heart of Corruption quest. This quest requires players to unlock three initial gates, followed by opening one last gate using items from areas behind the three gates.
The three initial gates are unlocked with the essences of enemies in several regions. Opening each of them leads to a new area with a special enemy at the end, which drops its own essence for the last gate.

After opening the last gate in The Crossroads, players will have to take down the Revenant Dragon. Upon defeating it, The Caretaker appears and opens a pathway behind itself. Follow the stairs for the last Mysterious Circle.
If the player has completed the Regrets of the Dread Wolf quest and successfully convinced Mythal, she will use her power to help defeat the Revenant Dragon, making the fight significantly easier.

Mysterious Circles Reward
Unlocks the Secret Ending
Obtaining all Mysterious Circles unlocks the secret ending in the post-credits scene. The scene will appear regardless of the ending attained.
