New Game Plus is not available for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Learn more about new game plus and what to do after beating the game in here!
Unfortunately, New Game Plus or NG+ is not available for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. After watching the ending scene, players will return to the title screen. They are able to load the game from a decision save in the Throne Room if they wish to replay the events of the final quest.
Following the previous titles, The Veilguard does not have a New Game+ mode either.
Dragon Age: Inquisition had a feature called the Golden Nug that allowed players to carry over schematics and mounts across multiple saves.
Veilguard does not have this feature, meaning characters created will always have different levels of progression.
While there is no New Game Plus mode, players can replay the game to have a new experience.
Each playthrough can be tailored to a unique experience via playing a different class, making different choices, or romancing a different companion.
The class chosen during character creation cannot be changed in the same playthrough. As the class defines the combat experience of the game, tackling content with a different playstyle can offer a fresh experience during a replay.
Choices create the core of Dragon Age: The Veilguard's immersion and narrative experience. They may replay the game and make different choices and see how the game will unfold. With this, players can experience new stories and perspectives even without new game plus.
Major Decisions and Consequences
The game locks Rook into a single partner in a playthrough. Players may witness how each Companion questline will change after committing to them in different playthroughs.
