Should You Do Faction and Region Quests?
Side Quests are Important
Although side quests are optional, you should do them as they provide a wide array of rewards, which will prove helpful throughout your journey.
Also, if you're after either the good or best endings, then you have to have completed a certain number of side quests to get enough faction strength to minimize casualties in the final battle.
