To proceed with the quest, talk to Evka and Antoine. Dialogue choices will appear, but none of the choices will significantly affect the outcome of this quest.

Ensure the Wardens Are Ready

Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Something Wicked - Ensure the Wardens are Ready

Talk to the warden sentries scattered throughout the fort. Once preparations are made, talk to Evka to initiate the event.

Protect Lavendel

Defeat the Darkspawn

Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Something Wicked - Defeat the Darkspawn

Darkspawn will spawn in waves at the Sheltered Glade and the Gates. Dispatch all of them to protect Lavendel and progress the quest.

Check In with the Wardens

Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Something Wicked - Check In with the Wardens

Occasionally check in with the wardens. Once combat has ended, head back into the fort and talk to Evka to complete the quest.

Completing this quest awards the player with the Griffon Great Helm, and 2 Dragonfire Catalysts, a legendary material used to upgrade weapons. Additionally, players also receive 1750 XP, 300 Gold, +300 Grey Warden Strength, and increased bond with current companions.
