Doing Harding's companion quests will significantly strengthen your bond with her. Here are all of her quests:
Harding attains the Hero of the Veilguard status after completing The Heart of the Titan companion quest. Players must select between Harding honoring the Titan's anger or remembering who they are.
Do note that you are not required to be in an exclusive relationship with Harding for them to be a Hero of the Veilguard!
Should Harding Honor the Titans' Anger?

The first half of the Commitment Conversation for Harding will appear after the Waiting Stone companion quest. After the quest, interact with Harding in the Lighthouse and offer her assistance during her times of trouble - expressing romantic interest in her.
After expressing romantic interest and completing the Cauldron main quest, head back to Harding to be given the A Bond Rekindled companion quest, where they will receive her second Commitment Conversation prompt.
A gift for Harding called the Hinterlands Oak is available for purchase at the Dock Town's Black Emporium, for 3 Etheric Remnants. Players can give this item to Harding to start a companion quest.
Head to the Lighthouse after purchasing the Hinterlands Oak and interact with Harding with the Give Gift prompt. She will comment on the gift and the quest will finish.
Harding gets romanced by Taash if players finish their questlines and do not commit to an exclusive relationship with them. If these conditions are fulfilled, players can witness romantic interactions between the two at the Lighthouse.
