Enchantments grant additional stat bonuses such as added damage, higher stagger, increased resistances, and flat stat increases. Each category of equipment has its own unique set of enchantments, allowing the player to tune their builds according to their needs.
Enchantments can be done in The Caretaker's Workshop located in the Lighthouse. The shop is unlocked as soon as the player arrives at the Lighthouse, where the Caretaker lies in wait.
Higher quality enchantments are unlocked at the upper ranks of The Caretaker's Workshop. The workshop is upgraded by finding Mementos scattered in Thedas or puchasing them in shops.
