DAV - Last Rites
Before you take on this quest, you'll need to complete the quest Last Rites first. Once that's done and you've saved the woman in the barrier, you'll automatically accept this quest.

Last Rites Quest Guide

Save the Viper

DAV - The Tempered Soul, Everlasting - Save the Viper
After saving the woman in Last Rites, she will ask you to save the Viper who's going to be executed in the Temple of Andraste. Make your way there and defeat all the enemies in the courtyard so you can destroy the Barrier Crystals.

Once the Viper has been saved and you're done talking to him, you'll have successfully completed this quest.
