Faction Gameplay Features

Affects Backstory and Conversation Choices

The chosen faction determines Rook's backstory and possible conversation choices for the entire playthrough, allowing for a unique and varied playthrough with each of the six available factions.

Faction Exclusive Shops and Items

Each faction has an exclusive shop where players can buy faction and lore-linked items and equipment. These shops and their wares will be reputation-locked, requiring players to increase Rook's faction reputation to unlock more shop inventory.

Gain Bonuses and Perks

Joining a faction grants a bonus to raising their reputation, in addition to dealing increased damage against their mortal enemies and a unique perk. These perks may include carrying an additional potion, increased critical and weakpoint damage, or increased base stats.
