Kataranda the Stormrider Objectives
Meet Taash at The Hall of Valor
Meet with Taash at the Hall of Valor and read the Note on the bulletin board to begin the quest. The note tells of a recent dragon attack just off the coast, potentially by Kataranda - a notorius Stormrider.
Recover Kataranda's Treasure
Investigate The 1st Wreck
Whoever that Lord of Fortune was, they almost succeeded in getting Kataranda's treasure. You need to investigate 2 wrecks scattered across Rivain Coast. This 1st one is just along the beach. Investigate the wrecked boat. The treasure is hidden somewhere in the area near the wreck.
Investigate The 2nd Wreck
The 2nd wreckage is in the same area where you 1st ecountered the Vinsomer during the quest The Dragon Slayer. It'll have some enemies you'll need to clear before you can start investigating.
After clearing all enemies, you can interact with several sand mounds near the wreck. Interact with them until a Crow is marked nearby. It later flies off with the treasure, meaning you'll have to chase after it.
Recover The Treasure Piece
Follow the quest marker to the cliffs, after which 3 locations will be marked. Check each one until you find the treasure piece. At that point, you would have recovered all of Kataranda's missing treasure.

How to Beat Kataranda
| Dragon Attacks | |
|---|---|
| Swipe | Does a quick swipe with either its front or rear legs, depending on your position. |
| Headbutt | Quickly snaps its jaws as if taunting before lunging forward to try and slam down its head on you. |
| Body Slam | Flies up and briefly charges before brining itself down with force, affecting a large area |
| Breath Attack | Has a Shock breath. Marks you with a circle of electricity before firing a straight stream of lightning. (Can shoot on land or while flying.) |
| Tail Swipe | Swings its body in a 180-degree arc to try and hit you with its tail. |
| Charge | Briefly winds up before charging at you in a straight line. |
| The Tail Swipe is the only attack you can normally block, unless you're playing the Champion Specialization with Inspiring Guard. | |

| Necrotic | Electricity |
Kataranda has the same moveset as the other High Dragons in the game. She's basically the Lightning variant of the dragon you fought in either On Blighted Wings or On Deadly Wings.
