Defeat the Demons

Clear the Demons at the First Site

Fast travel to the Clifftops Beacon and head towards the quest marker by the ruined barracks. Defeat the undead that spawns, utilizing heavy attacks to break through their armor. A spirit will appear between the trees, and speaking with it will continue the quest.

Clear the Demons at the Next Site

Teleport to the Warden Castle Beacon and cross the bridge. Head down the Ravine Descent and defeat the enemies that spawn. Talk to the spirit near the foot of the stairs afterwards to proceed.

Clear the Demons at the Final Site

Arnold Maulrich, Hero of the Chantry, Bane of the Apostates is vulnerable to Necrotic damage and resists Cold. His health will be protected by a layer of armor, and it is advised to strip it with heavy attacks first before unleashing abilities.

Arnold will be accompanied with a pair of Undead Templars and another pair of Murdered Mages. These will not despawn once Arnold is defeated, hence, it is recommended to eliminate them first— starting with the mages —before attacking Arnold. Speak to the Spirit of Compassion by the skeleton to complete the quest.
