The Warden Vault can be opened by solving three different puzzles in Warden Castle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Learn more about how to open the Warden Vault and its rewards.

How to Open The Warden Vault
Locate The Warden Vault
To trigger the quest, head to the Warden Castle and go right. You'll see a stairway going down, blocked by a Blistering Drakestone. Use either Taash's ability or The Lyrium Dagger to clear it, then go inside.
Unlock All Locks
To open the Warden Vault, you'll need to solve 3 puzzles that correspond to 3 locks. Each puzzle is scattered throughout Warden Castle.

Warden Vault 1st Lock
From the courtyard, go to the hallway blocked by a wagon. Destroy it and go inside. Clear the area of crates and barrels and you'll see three levers attached to the wall. Interact with the levers in this order:
- Left Lever
- Right Lever
- Center Lever
Lighting all three torches releases the first lock of the Warden Vault.
Warden Vault 2nd Lock
Next, you'll be going for the middle lock. West of the are filled with Antaam before is a door. Enter it and follow the hall. Once outside, look to the right and you will see a skeleton surrounded by glowing green butterflies. You need to find all 4 green butterflies scattered across Warden Castle to unlock the second lock.
1st Green Butterfly
In the Western-most section of Warden Castle, by the corridor. A skeleton surrounded by green butterflies is found on the Northern wall.
2nd Green Butterfly
Head back to the upper courtyard before entering the castle and go to the right side. There will be a skeleton with a green glow in the corner.
3rd Green Butterfly
This skeleton is outside the castle gate, to the right, near the fast travel beacon.
4th Green Butterfly
The skeleton is beside the lever behind the secret room that opens up after you come near the spirit after finding the 3rd Green Butterfly.
Warden Vault 3rd Lock
In the hall where you revealed the secret door for the second lock, look for an explosive jar on the top right of the ledge. Hit it with Taash's ability to expose a ladder on the left. Head up and take the Wisp.
Drop down the ledge and head straight up, then to the left, past the door. Head inside then take another left. Follow the path until you see a crack in the wall with a skeleton inside. Bring the Wisp there to open a door to the left. Hurry, because Wisps disappear after a few seconds!
Pull the lever attached to the wall to release the third and final lock.
Return to The Warden Vault
Head back down to the vault, open the door, and claim all of the loot.

The Warden Vault is found underneath Warden Castle in the Rivain Coast, which you can explore after recruiting Taash.
The Warden Vault Rewards
The Warden Vault will hold 3 Chests, one of which is a Timelost Hoard. Items in the chests are fixed based on your class. Plus, don't forget to claim the Petrified Dragon's Tear memento to help upgrade The Caretaker.
