Description | ||
The trail of the gods leads to Arlathan, and the Veil Jumpers must deal with divine reckoning. |
Travel to the Arlathan Forest through the map, and speak to Strife and Irelin in the Veil Jumper camp. The party will be tasked to investigate Venatori activity in the forest.
Exit the Veil Jumper camp to proceed to the spot marked on your map. Past Ruins Reach, you should arrive at the Shadowy Grove, where you will be ambushed by Venatori cultists. Defeat the enemies and investigate the camp.
Investigate the clue in between the two tents, placed on top of a colorful table. The paper is Dalish, suggesting it was stolen from a Dalish camp nearby.
Head northwest from the Venatori camp, where you will find darkspawn and blight boils to destroy. Destroying them will start A Growing Corruption side quest.
To continue with Unwanted Guests, approach the ladder on the minimap and climb up the wall.
Past the top of the Nameless Building, follow the path and reach the Tattered Bridge, and use the ladder to go down.
Continue hiking down the mountain path and you will find red explosive barrels to destroy that will lead to a Valuable Item.
Keep following the quest path and you will then arrive at a blockage. Move the Resonant Slab blocking the way with the Eternal Hymn ability.
Once the path is open, the continuing area will contain a zipline that is not part of the quest, as it leads to an optional area. To continue the main quest, go onwards instead to climb a ladder going up a small cliff wall.
Up the ladder, fend off another Venatori ambush, and press on towards the Jagged Ruins.
Step | Location |
---|---|
1 | Hike up the mountain and find the Broken Device. |
2 | Use the Tinker ability to fix the device. |
3 | Zip across to the other side, where the magical beam is projecting from. |
4 | Get to the Elven apparatus and activate it to use. |
5 | Aim the beam on the spot near the tower entrance, and the bridge leading to the tower will be formed. |
With the bridge formed, jump across the floating stone towards the entrance of the Mystical Tower.
Inside the tower, a Veil Jumper elf will be present by the entrance. Defeat the Venatori in the following room, and report back to the Veil Jumper. After speaking with him, open the barrier by completing a puzzle.

With the barrier open, exit the tower and go towards the Dalish camp.
Arrive at the Dalish camp, which has been overrun by Venatori cultists. Clear them out and proceed towards the broken bridge.
Pick up the Battery located to the right of bridge, by the waterfall. Place the battery on the socket nearby and proceed forward the formed bridge.
Clear the Venatori defending the final area of the quest. After defeating them, enter the room past the statue and stairs where you will find another barrier puzzle.

Odd looking glass that can be evidence. |
Supplies |
Light supplies, suggesting the Venatori did not travel far. |
These are the only two clues needed to be found to proceed. After collecting the glass and noticing the supplies, Strife and Irelin will show up at the ruins. Report to them about what you have found.
