The quest starts in Ravensthorpe after pledging to the Suthsexe territory. This marks the beginning of The Siege of Portcestre story arc.

Reaver of the South - Find and speak to Basim.png
Find and speak to Basim		 Travel to Croindene in Suthsexe and speak to Basim inside the longhouse.

Reaver of the South - Find and kill the scouts.png
Find and kill the scouts		 Locate and kill three of Fulke's scouts.
TIPS:
Two scouts patrol around their respective areas.
Use Odin's Sight and Raven's-Eye View to determine their exact location.

Reaver of the South - Find and speak to Basim 2.png
Find and speak to Basim		 Basim and Guthrum's forces are camped in the forest south of Cicestre Abbey. Head over there and speak to Basim.

Reaver of the South - Push back Porcestre
Push back Portcestre's forces		 Fulke's forces will ambush the camp after speaking with Basim.
Fill the progress bar left by eliminating Fulke's forces.

Reaver of the South - Defeat the champion.png
Defeat the champion		 You will have a choice to either kill or spare Fulke's Champion after winning the duel.
You will have to fight him again in a future quest if you decide to spare him now.

Reaver of the South - Carry Brothir
Carry Brothir's Body		 Carry Brothir's body back to camp.
Placing Brothir's body in the indicated spot will trigger a cutscene and finish the quest.
Dialogue options during this cutscene are inconsequential to the story.

Boss Strategies: How to Beat Fulke's Champion

Reaver of the South - Fulke

  • Fulke's Champion is a Great Sword dual-wielder. This grants him insanely high reach and damage.
  • Always be mindful of your position inside the confined space of the fight circle as getting cornered by Fulke's Champion often leads to death.
  • Most of his attacks can be parried and will cause him to stagger when doing so. Use this to your advantage.
