The Tale of Thegn Oswald is a saga taking place in the region of East Anglia in England.
With a king dead, the Danish steward of Northwic requires your aid in grooming the King's son, Oswald, into a proper king who can sit on the throne.
A King now lies dead, threatening the possibility of an alliance with East Anglia. Aid Finnr mold a young Oswald into becoming worthy of his father's throne.
The dinner that could have gained Oswald the approval of his intended's brothers – Brothir and Broder– has failed. Will the young man be able to learn the Norse ways?
The Measure of a Norseman Walkthrough
Oswald returns with a lootful of treasure and a victory over Rued – the question now is if it will be enough to appease Brothir and Broder – whom he still has to gain the approval of to marry Valdis.
A Triumphant Return Walkthrough
Oswald now lies dead. Eivor must now find a way to rid East Anglia of Rued and his clan – for they still pose a threat to the peace of all.
Rued has holed up in Burgh Castle. Prepare your fleet of ships and assault the heavily defended castle to rid East Anglia of him once and for all!
A Fury from the Sea Walkthrough
With Rued's threat now ended, Oswald can now proceed with the wedding he has worked tireslessly towards. Vows are exchanged, and drinks are downed – take part in the festivities of your new allies!
