The quest starts in Clogher after completing three Royal Demands during The Northern Reach quest.

Travel to Clogher, Ulster and enter Flann's tent to initiate a cutscene. |

Sail west towards Donegal and raid the area with your crew. One of the norsemen inside has a King's Pass.
TIP: While it is possible to grab the King's Pass quietly, we recommend raiding the place instead due to the presence of Irish Treasure inside. |

Head northwest towards Aileach once you obtain a King's Pass. Enter the kings' hall inside to initiate a cutscene. |

Infiltrate Aileach's prison and free Barid and Flann's men inside. You can either storm through the front or use stealth.

Eliminate the remaining prison guards once all of the prisoners are set free.. |

Continue the fight outside of the prison and eliminate as many guards as possible. The quest ends once a cutscene plays out. |

Hop on the poles to the right of the prison's entrance. |
 |
Sneak in through the narrow crack on the wall and climb up. |
 |
Eliminate the two archers positioned above the section of the wall you came in from. |
 |
Eliminate all of the guards stationed on top of the wall. This prevents complications once you head further into the prison later on.
TIP: You can simply snipe all of them with a Hunter or Predator Bow from this position instead if you have enough Ranged Damage. |
 |
Look for a section of the wall with a pole sticking inward. Use the pole to hop to the rope that takes you to the building in the middle. |
 |
A guard with the prison key is stationed around the wall. This guard tends to move back and forth a room in the wall.
Wait for the guard to enter the room, then assassinate the other guards nearby. You can either follow the guard with the key and eliminate him inside or wait for him to return outside. |

Look for an opening that has ropes tied across it. Enter the prison cell area through this opening.
Be mindful of a guard that patrols the area underneath. |
 |
Continue walking across the hall and eliminate the three remaining guards inside. The prison cells should be clear by then. |
 |
Unlock the cell doors using the key you obtained earlier and untie Barid and Flann's men. |
