Boss Strategies: How to Beat Fulke

Storming The Walls - Fulke boss fight banner.png
Fulke is a crafty fighter who uses the shadows to surprise, disorient, and flank her enemies. Her boss fight is divided into two phases.

Read on to learn strategies for each phase!

Phase One

Storming The Walls - Fulke boss fight phase 1.png

  • Fulke can retreat to the shadows and charge at you from any angle. Target locking is disabled during this attack so listen to audio queues to determine her exact location before she charges and be ready to dodge or parry.
  • Most of her attacks are light and can be easily parried. Use this to your advantage.
  • Fulke will eventually extinguish the brazier and run to another room. Locate the next room with a torch.
  • You can chase Fulke into the shadows with a torch and trivialize this entire phase.
  • Fulke can extinguish your torch with her whip during combat. Dodge out of the way whenever she attempts this.

Phase Two

Storming The Walls - Fulke boss fight phase 2.png

  • Phase Two begins if either Fulke extinguishes three braziers or has dropped to about 30% HP.
  • She will pick up a cross from a grave nearby and use it as a hammer.
  • Most of her attacks are slow and can be easily parried during this phase.
  • Be mindful of her charging light attack at all times. You will be knocked down and suffer massive damage via repeated punches from Fulke if this connects.
