The quest starts in the abandoned settlement in Ledecestrescire, Mercia.

Unwelcome - Get rid of the bandits.pngEnlarge
Get rid of the bandits 		Eivor and the crew arrives at Halfdan's settlement and sees it's abandoned.
Kill the bandits that inhabit the area.
TIPS:
Bandits will kick sand towards their enemies at close range to temporarily blind and stun them.
Watch out for this perilous attack, indicated by the red rune that flashes before they attack.

Explore the area 		Search the area to find clues as to what happened in the settlement.
Check the longhouse for any stragglers or clues.

Release the hostages.pngEnlarge
Release the hostages 		Eivor will find a pair of hostages inside the longhouse.
Interacte with them triggers a cutscene and completes the quest.
