A Challenge from the Gods Starting Location

The quest starts in the eastern portion of Ravensthorpe. Completing this quest makes Mastery Challenges available for you to comb through throughout England.

No.	Objectives	Guide
1	Search the Area	Once the fireball falls down from the sky, search the area for clues. TIPS: Head up the path behind the trees from where the cutscene triggers. Use Odin's Sight to locate a woman laying down along the path.
2	Talk to the Woman	Talk with the woman kneeling down along the path.
3	Talk to Hildiran	Approach Hildiran and talk to her – she will be standing just outside of the new building added to Ravensthorpe.
4	Deafeat Hildiran	Defeat Hildrian in combat. TIPS: She will be able to dodge your strikes. Wait for her to attack, and simply parry her strikes.
5	Defeat her a second time	After the world shifts, defeat her once again with weapons.
6	Meditate at the Shrine	Head to the shrine near Hill Gate Remnants in the region of Sciropescire and meditate there.
7	Finish a Trial	Choose a trial and finish it. TIPS: You'll need three Bronze Medals to succeed.
8	Return to Hildiran	Head back to Ravensthorpe and talk to HIldiran.

A Challenge From the Gods: How to Beat Hildiran

Parry and Dodge

The second fight with Hildiran is much more challenging than the simple fistfight you get into with her earlier on. Much of the strategy from that fight however remains true here.

She will simply evade your strikes, so it is better to wait for her to come in with an attack that you must Parry or Dodge. If you have the Brush With Death skill, dodging at the last minute will grant you a time slow-down which makes hitting her easier.
