All Ymir's Blood Stone Locations

What are Ymir's Blood Stones?

Ymir's Blood Stones are a form of wealth unique to the "dreamworld" of Jotunheim. Collecting them all merits you with the ability to turn them in to the Offering Altar that can be found in the region.

Where to Get Ymir's Blood Stones

The unique treasures can be found all over Jotunheim. Using Odin's Sight near unidentified wealth may reveal the icon that denotes that a blood stone is nearby. Getting these treasures is no easy feat however, as many of them are hidden behind illusions.

Ymir's Blood Stones Locations

There are a total of 33 Ymir's Blood Stones that can be found all across Jotunheim. Some of these can be found close to each other, or in the same area. The list below are locations where you can find each stone.

Underwater Chest

Aegir's Hall

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	On the top floor of Aegir's Hall, just to the left of the ladder you use to ascend to the top, you'll find the chest. The key for it is located to the west of Aegir's Hall at the bottom of a large cauldron of mead.

Illusioned Chest

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	You need to find two trees with skull masks on them to the east of the marker. Walk between the trees to spawn the chest; you must also find two keys on a small island in the pond and beside a tree to unlock the chest.

Construction Site

Heart of the Wood

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	In the heart of the wood, you must climb the roots of the tree to reach the house the chest is in. The key to the house is in the highest house.

Illusioned Home

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	The chest is inside of an illusion; you must access a door in the area from where the pond is, and afterwards open it again from the other side. The chest is at the far end of the home.

Illusioned Shipwreck

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	You need to walk through a tree trunk with a skull mask on it west of the wealth's marker. Afterwards, inside of the shipwreck, you must walk towards the other side facing the sea until the chest loses its ice cover for you to be able to acces it.

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 2	Same as the stone in the area, you must walk through the illusion to make the wrecked ships appear. Simply walk up to the chest afterwards and claim the wealth.

Skrymir's Mitten

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	You need to first enter Skrymir's Mitten; travel the halls until you get to a section of the hallway with a thick pillar in the middle. Move around the pillar until the illusion breaks. Get through the new section, and you'll see a breakable wooden panel. Break it to get to the chest.

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 2	Inside of Skrymir's Mitten, you must reach the elevated platform at the far end of the area, the one with Thor's Cauldron in it. Once there, move the block towards the pillar with a tightrope attached to it on top. Climb it and move across the rope to the chest.

Illusioned Platform

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	Find first the two poles with skull masks and walk through them to end the illusion. Head to the southern face of the platform and break the breakable wall to get to the chest.

Steinnbjorn's Cave

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	Inside of Steinnbjorn's cave; you don't need to fight the beast to get to the chest. Simply skirt around the rocks around the fight area to get to the cave.

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 2	Climb the tower; the chest's key is on another tower you must break from an illusion first. Climb down the ladder and break the ice sheet; walk through the pillars with skull masks and climb the second tower to get the key.

Underwater Houses

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	Slightly southeast of the marker, you'll find a small lake. Swim beneath until you get to the area where there are houses frozen underground. Get the key in the water and unlock the chest, also underwater.

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	Under a breakable floor section; the key to the chest is inside of the house opposite of where the chest is. You can shoot the lock of the door through the window on the other side.

Fighting Pit

Blocked House

Feasting Hall Cave

Feasting Hall Kitchen

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	Inside of the Kitchen in the Feasting Hall. You can get there by going up to the throne in the Feasting Hall and searching for a hole in the wall you can climb into to it's right side. The chest is on the scaffolding above.

Guarded Cavern

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	In a cavern with guards outside. The key to the locked gate is beneath the platform with the stairs; move the box blocking your way to slide under the platform and claim the key.

Enchanted Tower

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 1	You must climb the Enchanted Tower and trigger the illlusions. Once at the very top, you'll notice that the very bottom of the tower has a hole with a haystack beneath; perform a leap of faith to the bottom and grab the wealth from the chest.

Enlarge Ymir's Blood Stone 2	Along the way up the Enchanted Tower, you'll encounter a section where you can climb up along the walls. In a small nook that you'll have to get to, the chest is there for you to claim.
