The quest starts in Odin's Hovel immediately after the Under the Skin quest.

Speak to Vili		 Head to Odin's Rest and speak to Vili to trigger a cutscene.

Farewells and Legacies - Return to Sunniva.png
Return to Sunniva		 Return to Hemthorpe's longhouse and speak to Sunniva to initiate a series of cutscenes.
The choice of whether Vili or Trygve should be the next Jarl will only present itself if you convinced Trygve to live on during the Under the Skin quest.
This is a major decision that will affect the ending of the story arc.
The quest finishes after the cutscenes and marks the end of the story arc: A Tale of Two Jarls.

Vili or Trygve: Choosing the Next Jarl

This decision determines the ending of the story arc: A Tale of Two Jarls.

Vili will join the Raven Clan as a Jomsviking if you vote for Trygve.

Voting for Vili results in him becoming the next jarl of Snotinghamscire. Trygve will remain in Snotinghamscire and serve as Vili's advisor.

It is important to note that your alliance with Snotinghamscire will be secured regardless of your decision.
