Play the Story

Of course, one of the best ways to level up is to play the story. More often than not, the story will naturally progress you to the level that you will need for the next story area.

You get experience from completing story missions, so naturally playing the game organically will get you to the level you need to be.

Complete the Mysteries

There are multiple mysteries scattered across the lands of AC Valhalla. You can find them as blue lights icons on the map, most of them will simply be dots until you come up close to them and find out what type of mystery they are.

Fly Agaric and Standing Stones

These three mysteries in particular are very good for leveling up, as they grant you a skill point automatically per completion. Make sure you find these mysteries and complete them whenever you can to ensure that you level up as quickly as possible.

These two mysteries are symbolized by the logos above so keep an eye out on your map whenever you pass by a blue light!

Do Reda's Contracts

After completing the story arc of either Ledecestrescire or Grantebridgescire, you'll get the quest The Thousand Eyes in Ravensthorpe. You can talk to Reda and unlock Contracts.

Contracts are missions you can do daily and weekly that refresh, and they give experience points among other things. This is a good way to get experience points.

Perform RIver Raids

River Raids are a new activity that came with the 1.1.2 Update. They're respawning settlements that you can raid with your Jomsvikings, so essentially they can be grinded again and again for experience, as well as other resources.
