The quest starts in The Builder's clearing immediately after the Defensive Measures quest.

Consult the gods		 Travel back to Asgard and meet up with Loki and Tyr.

Extended Family - Reach Freyja and Thor.png
Reach Freyja and Thor		 Gather the others and discuss The Builder's price for his defensive barrier.
Freyja will always get upset regardless of which dialogue option you choose.

Extended Family - Chase the wolf.png
Chase the wolf		 The wolf escapes its cage shortly after the cutscene with the gods.
Chase it to a nearby clearing.

Extended Family - Kill the wolf.png
Kill the wolf		 Defeat The Lost Wolf's to trigger a cutscene.
The quest ends after the cutscene.

Boss Strategies: How to Beat The Lost Wolf

  • The Lost Wolf uses the entire move set of regular wolves in the game. Be mindful of quick, sweeping attacks at all times.
  • The Lost Wolf will always anticipate heavy attacks. Resort to light attacks and use heavy attacks ONLY when an opportunity presents itself.
  • The Lost Wolf occassionally burrows underground. It will either perform a lunging attack from underground OR burrow away you. Keep your distance and always be ready to dodge away from an underground lunge attack.
  • At low HP, The Lost Wolf may occassionally hurl rocks towards you after burrowing away.
