The quest starts in the Hordafylke's northernmost fjord immediately after the Where Legends Are Born quest.

1 Follow Sigurd Arrive at the Isu Vault in Hordafylke with Sigurd.
2 Reach the central platform Follow Sigurd's lead and step into the center of the innermost circle of the platform.
3 Experience Valhalla Participate in the endless battle in Valhalla.
The battles will repeat for four days.
You must defeat Sigurd in a boss fight during the first day of battle.

4 Confront Basim Approach Basim to initiate a boss fight.

5 Chase Basim Chase Basim back to the central platform where Sigurd is resting.
6 Defeat Basim Defeat Basim in the central platform to initiate a series of cutscenes that will result in one of the endings for Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

7 Present Day The game will jump to the present day after the final cutscene between Eivor and Sigurd in the Isu Vault.
Talk to Sean and head back to the central platform of the Isu Vault as Layla.
Arriving at the central platform as Layla will trigger a series of cutscenes that marks the end of Assassin's Creed Valhalla's story!

Boss Strategies

How to Beat Sigurd

A Brother

  • You are invulnerable to any form of damage during this fight.
  • Sigurd will lose his right arm again as soon as he drops to about 50% HP. This marks the end of the boss fight.

How to Beat Odin

A Brother

  • You cannot die during this boss fight.
  • The goal of this fight is to escape the simulation by reaching the giant door that spawns after your HP drops to zero for the first time.
  • Odin will drag you back to the fight if you try to reach the giant door with your axe equipped.
  • Unequip your axe via the inventory menu and run towards the giant door to finish the boss fight and trigger a cutscene.

How to Beat Basim

A Brother

Phase One

  • Basim is a very agile and cunning fighter that uses multiple assassin tools and techniques to take you down.
  • Basim constantly climbs to the top of the pillars and perform a heavy leaping attack towards you. Dodge out of the way at all times.
  • Basim constantly drops smoke bombs to disorient and stun you. Anticipate these throughout the fight.
  • Basim does not have a health bar for the entirety of this boss fight. The goal is to simply survive and deal as much damage as possible until the next phase.

Phase Two

  • Phase two starts in the lift that you and Sigurd used to get down to the Isu Vault's central platform.
  • Basim will start using his wire to pull you within his range and perform an attack, similar to the Harpoon Impalement ability.
  • Basim starts evading attacks more, similar to how Ivarr dodges your attacks during his boss fight.
  • Basim is susceptible to stun attacks and parries once the lift reaches a certain height.
  • Phase Two ends in a chase sequence back towards the Isu Vault's central platform.

Phase Three

  • Phase three starts after chasing Basim all the way down to the central platform of the Isu Vault.
  • Perform a stun attack on Basim while he is inside the circle to end the boss fight.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Endings

A Brother

WARNING: This section contains major spoilers regarding the ending of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Read on if you do NOT mind spoilers.

Ending A: Sigurd and Eivor Return to England Together

Eivor and Sigurd will reconcile during the final cutscene inside the Isu Vault. Sigurd, however, comes to the conclusion that Eivor has proven himself to be a better leader than he could ever be. They ultimately return to Ravensthorpe together and Eivor assumes the mantle of Jarl of the Raven Clan going forward, with Sigurd acting as one of his advisors.

This ending is achieved if at least three of the following choices were done during specific quests. Refer to the table below:

The Seas of Fate You left the supplies in Fornburg before departing for England
A Brewing Storm You gave Dag his axe during his final moments.
Blood From a Stone You did not punch Sigurd or Basim.
IMPORTANT: Each punch is considered a separate decision.
Blame and Sail You did not question Sigurd's judgement regarding Holger and Gudrun's dispute in Ravensthorpe.
Taken For Granted You did not enter a romantic relationship with Randvi before her marriage with Sigurd was dissolved.

Ending B: Eivor Returns to England Alone

Sigurd decides to part ways with Eivor and the Raven Clan and wants to start again in Norway from scratch. Eivor returns to Ravensthorpe alone and takes Sigurd's place as Jarl of the Raven Clan going forward.

This ending is achieved if at least three of the following choices were done during specific quests. Refer to the table below:
