Breaking Thunder Nightmare Boss Fight

In Breaking Thunder - Nightmare, players will have 10 minutes to take on the Unknown Corruption Complex. The Lightning Counter mechanic will be available to shred enemy shields during this encounter.

Pale Breath - Nightmare

Pale Breath Nightmare Boss Fight

In Pale Breath - Nightmare, players have 10 minutes to defeat The Defiler. The team must destroy the blade and use it to create a barrier that can evade the massive incoming damage, which can instantly take down a unit.

Final Battle - Nightmare

Final Battle Nightmare Boss Fight

During the Final Battle - Nightmare, Proxies must fight Geppetto together! To succeed in this mode, the team needs to utilize all strategies from previous stages, including Trigger Blaze, Crush Miasma Particles, and Lightning Counter.

Joint Investigation Standard Stages

Breaking Thunder

Area	Objective
Lightning Lure	Activate the Lightning Tower and defeat all enemies that appear. The player who activated the tower will be targeted by Thunderbolts more frequently.
Time Trial Challenge	Defeat as many enemies as you can within the time limit.
Lightning Counter Domain	Defeat all enemies. Use Perfect Assist to trigger Lightning Counter against robots for bonus points.
Elite Battle	Defeat all enemies! Bonus Objective: Successfully use Lightning Counter 2 time(s).
Final Clash	Defeat the powerful final enemy!

How to Beat Final Clash

Trigger Lightning Counter to Shred Shield
During the Final Clash, you will need to utilize Lightning Counter to shred through the Thracian's shield!

Joyful Blaze

Area	Objective
Time Trial Challenge	The more enemies you defeat within the time limit, the higher your score!
Alarm Busting	Disarm the alarm mechanism to unlock the path and use Polarity Calibration to open up the locked gate!
Burning Blaze Domain	Use Perfect Dodge, Special Attack, or Dash Attack to trigger Blaze.
Elite Battle	Defeat all enemies! Bonus Objective: Perform 3 Chain Takedown(s).
Final Clash	Defeat the powerful final enemy!

How to Beat Final Clash

In the Joyful Blaze area, dodging the meteorites can trigger the Blaze effect. Be mindful of the timing of your skills and dodges, as you can destroy the boulders and stun the Specialized Assault Bomber.

Pale Breath

Area	Objective
Data Extraction	Activate the Data Piles and stay within their range to fully extract their data. The more Agents in range, the faster the extraction!
Time Trial Challenge	Defeat all enemies within the time allotment.
Miasma Quell	Crush as many Miasma Particles as possible to purify the Miasma core!
Elite Battle	Defeat all elite enemies! Bonus Objective: Perform one Ultimate.
Final Clash	Defeat the powerful final enemy!

How to Beat Final Clash

In Pale Breath, you will be pitted against the Haytor. Once it deploys a Miasmic Shield, crush the Miasmic Particles to quickly shred it!

Final Battle

Phase	Description
1	Crush the Miasma particles. Geppetto will perform Curtain of Phantoms during this phase.
2	Geppetto will gain a massive shield. Perform Lightning Counter to shred through it.
3	When Geppetto starts summoning Ethereals, it will also enter a burning state. When this happens, use Perfect Dodges, Special Attacks, and Dodge Attacks trigger Blaze to help clear out enemies.
4	Continue attacking Geppetto until you trigger a cutscene. It will not fight back during this phase.

Explore the Papago Hollow

Select a Themed Stage

In the Joint Investigation event, Proxies must go through the event quest to unlock the different Papago Hollow-themed stages.

There are multiple themed stages, each with its own objective that requires teamwork with other Proxies to complete!

Match With Other Proxies

Match with Fellow Proxies

Once you have selected a stage, you will be taken directly to the Agent Selection screen. Make sure to choose an Agent that complements the other Proxies' Agents in order to clear the stage as efficiently as possible.

In the right corner, there is a communication tab where you can claim your role before entering the stage!

Multiplayer and Co-Op Guide

Equip Gear and Resonia

Before stepping inside the Hollow, select a Gear equipment and choose the perfect Resonia for your Agents. You can obtain a gear and resonias after clearing a stage and contributing to the team.

Activate Chain Overdrive

Chain Overdrive

On the upper-right corner of your screen will be a Chain Meter, which charges each time you and your teammates perform exclusive stage techniques.

Once it reaches full capacity, press the prompt that will show on your screen to execute a Chain Overdrive with your teammates, allowing all of you to perform a Chain Attack all at the same time!

Revive Fallen Party Members

During the battle, if you or any of your teammates fall in battle, the remaining members can rally to their side to revive them.

The more party members participating in the revival process, the faster it will be. Be sure to come to your teammates' aid when they need it.
