Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) is an Action RPG similar to Honkai Impact 3rd (HI3). Check out the differences and similarities between the two games here!

Honkai Impact 3rd and ZZZ Differences
HI3 Uses Hack and Slash Stage System
Honkai Impact 3rd's main gameplay uses a stage level system where you enter a level and defeat enemies in a hack and slash gameplay.
ZZZ Combines Roguelike and Hack-and-Slash
While Zenless Zone Zero has a similar hack and slash gameplay from Honkai Impact 3rd, it uses a roguelike tile system called the Hollow Deep Dive System where you use your Bangboo to navigate between TV screens to complete the objective.
The hack and slash gameplay only appears if your Bangboo lands on a tile that activates a random enemy encounter.
Honkai Impact 3rd Has Open-World Features
Honkai Impact 3rd feaures four open-world areas that are playable once you reach a certain Captain level: Sakura Samsara, Schicksal HQ, and A Post-Honkai Odyssey Parts 1 and 2. A Post-Honkai Odydssey features a seamless map that has no loading screens when entering different map sections.
Zenless Zone Zero is Not Open World
While Zenless Zone Zero seems to have an open world feature, it is limited only to a certain area of the city serving as the main hub of the game. That area has several stores and people you can interact with.
Battlesuits vs Separate Characters
Honkai Impact 3rd's playable characters are separated by battlesuits. The same character can have multiple battlesuits, and these are treated as separate playable characters.
Zenless Zone Zero does not have a battlesuit system, thus each character is treated as separate from the other. Moreover, the Bangboos that can be used are also treated as separate due to their unique properties.
Zenless Zone Zero and HI3 Similarities
Hack-and-Slash Gameplay
Based on the gameplays released by ZZZ's official information, the gameplay is similar to Honkai Impact where you'll be switching between three characters to defeat enemies!
