Character | Explanation |
---|---|
Protagonist | The Protagonist can take on the role of either the Faker or the Magic Seeker in the team. Use Faker if you want to focus on debuffing, and go for Magic Seeker if you don’t have access to Commander yet or haven’t maxed out this Archetype. |
Strohl | Strohl can serve as the main damage dealer for the team with the Pugilist Archetype. With this Archetype, he gains access to strong Strike attacks, which exploit one of Ceiba's weaknesses, as well as Super Energy Ray. Although classified as a physical synthesis skill, it is considered light damage, allowing you to hit Ceiba effectively in combat. |
Hulkenberg | Hulkenberg can serve as the secondary damage dealer for the team and can be the second Pugilist. However, if you want to diversify your Archetypes, you can also assign her as the Magic Seeker and keep the Protagonist as the Faker. |
Heismay | Heismay is the recommended Commander for the team, allowing you to use Heartbreak Strategem as the first action of your turn. This allows the succeeding party members to exploit Ceiba's weakness with any of the available physical moves your party has. |
Archetype | Recommended Skills |
---|---|
The Commander and Magic Seeker are the key Archetypes to bring in this battle, as both have skills that can negate Tetrakarn. Ceiba's main gimmick is using Mage Wall to remove his weaknesses to Strike, Slash, and Pierce, rendering him without any weaknesses. This makes it a must to use skills that can remove Tetrakarn to open up his weaknesses to physical attacks, like Tetrabreak or Heartbreak Strategem.
The Pugilist Archetype should be your main damage dealer in this fight. It has skills that you can switch around depending on whether Ceiba has an active Tetrakarn. If he has one up, the Pugilist can use Super Energy Ray to deal damage, and if not, it can use any of its heavy strike skills to shed a chunk of his HP.

|
Have someone reclass to the Commander Archetype until they learn Heartbreak Strategem. This skill will not only remove Ceiba's Tetrakarn but also force him to reapply it each turn, effectively wasting his one action.
How to Unlock Commander Archetype and Best Skills
When choosing who to give the Commander Archetype to, make sure to consider their Agility. This way, you can start the turn with Heartbreak Strategem, allowing the rest to focus on dealing damage with physical moves, which Ceiba is weak to. This makes Heismay the perfect candidate since he has the highest Agility among your teammates.
On turns when Ceiba has an active Tetrakarn, you can use Synthesis Skills to bypass his reflective shield. This can also help you deal huge damage without the risk of getting hit back by his Tetrakarn.
While going all out offensively with physical attacks may sound like a great strategy, it can be dangerous if you don’t have any ways to remove Tetrakarn. This makes Magic Seeker a great unit to bring, as it can deal huge magic damage and can learn Tetrabreak!
You also don’t need to worry about elemental magic resistances since Ceiba takes normal damage from these. Feel free to use any strong magic, like Cyclone!
Keep in mind that Ceiba's battle has a three-turn limit! This means the fight ends if you don’t defeat him in those turns, so you need to go all out offensively whenever you get the chance.
