A former knight of the eugief tribe. He has acute perception compared to most others, due in part to the eugief trait of being sensitive to sound.

With an appearance that differs greatly from other tribes, it's not uncommon for eugiefs to be discriminated against—and it seems Heismay is no exception, his past his own burden to bear.

You can unlock Heismay and his bond naturally by progressing to 07/04. This happens specifically after defeating Heismay twice in the Giant Sandworm's Nest, as you advance The Old Castle Town Kidnapper side quest.

Rank 2 Clear Kriegant Castle and spend time with him during the night. Requires Eloquence 2.
Rank 3 Speak to him on a free day.
Rank 4 Speak to him at night.
Rank 5 Speak to him while traveling in the Gauntlet Runner.
Rank 6 Speak to him at night.
Rank 7 Speak to him at night. Requires Imagination Rank 4.

Rank Ability Description
1 Thief Archetype The party can now study the Thief.
2 Thief Enlightenment Reduces the MAG cost of studying the Thief Lineage.
2 Preternatural Hearing Displays the location of strong enemies on dungeon maps.
3 Thief Archetype: Adept The party can now study the Assassin.
4 Scion's Skill (Thief) Increases skill inheritance slots for the Thief Lineage to 2.
5 Thief Veneration Significantly reduces the MAG cost of studying the Thief Lineage.
5 Battle Aura (Thief) While in reserve, the amount of experience Heismay gains increases.
6 Scion's Merit (Thief) Increases skill inheritance slots for the Thief Lineage to 3.
6 Battle Hypnosis (Thief) While in reserve, Heismay will gain experience at the normal rate.
7 Thief Archetype: Elite The party can now study the Ninja.
8 Scion's Essence (Thief) Increases skill inheritance slots for the Thief Lineage to 4.
8 Assassinate Greatly increases Heismay's ambush damage against stunned enemies.
8 Grand Fantasy (Thief) Heismay is ready to acquire a new Heroic Embodiment.
