Before Kriegante Castle
To start this quest, you'll need to progress through The Old Castle Town Kidnapper. Once you've progressed far enough and unlocked Heismay as a party member, this quest will automatically be accepted.
If you haven't unlocked this quest yet, then you'll need to progress through the Main Story until you're given the option to accept the Bounty.
The Old Castle Town Kidnapper Quest Guide
Rotting Waterway

| 1 |  When you're ready, head down the well and into the Rotting Waterway. ►Kriegante Castle Dungeon Walkthrough |
| * |  While traversing this dungeon, avoid staying near the water so that you're not ambushed by Kapcertos. |
| 2 | The path ahead is pretty straightforward, so just push on forward until you reach a staircase. |
| * |  Be careful of the chest in the room next to the staircase as it is actually a Pyrite Imitec in disguise. It is worth defeating though as it contains an accessory that increases the success rate of stealing. |
| 3 | Head up the stairs and make a save in the Safe Room. When you're ready, move on to the next area. |
Old Waterway

| 1 |  After the cutscene, you'll need to dodge the gaze of the shadowy baby to proceed. You can fight it if you wish, but it's only recommended if you're equipped to take on a tough foe. |
| 2 | Once you reach the top of the stairs, you'll be in the clear. Carry on towards the quest marker where the baby will be summoned once more. |
| * | While exploring, be careful of the top chest in the eastern room before the second baby encounter as it's another Pyrite Imitec. |
| 3 | Dodge the baby's gaze once more until you reach the safe area and can move on to the Old Reservoir. |
Old Reservoir
| Old Reservoir Guide | |

| 1 |  In this area, you'll need to lower all 6 floodgates to move on. You can do them in any order that you wish. |
| * | If you take the right path, however, go up the stairs first since you'll need the first floodgate to be raised to lower the floodgate behind it. |
| 2 |  Once all floodgates have been lowered, drop down the ladder and climb up the other ladder on the opposite side. |
| 3 | At the top of the ladder, there will be a Magla Hollow on the left. Make a save and go towards the crystals. |
| 4 |  You can use these crystals to farm the enemies that spawn. Once you're done, destroy the crystals and duck under the supplies on the right to proceed. |
| 5 |  A cutscene will play and you'll need to run away from the baby. This is similar to the collapse in the Nord Mine, so dodge the boxes while running towards the screen. |
| 6 | Another cutscene will play and you'll take an elevator up to the next area. |
Underground Passage & Sinners' Dungeon

| 1 | Once you leave the elevator, make a save in the Magla Hollow on the right. When you're ready, head through the door up ahead. |
| 2 |  After a cutscene, you'll be thrown into a cell in the Sinners' Dungeon. Gallica will free you but you'll need to face some enemies right after. |
| 3 |  Now that you're free, you'll need to rescue your teammates. You can open their cells in any order, but you'll need to fight the enemies in the cell next to them as well. |
| * | Open Strohl's cell last since his enemy is the hardest. You can free Heismay or Hulkenberg first depending on which enemies you prefer to fight or which character is stronger. |
| 4 | Once you're ready and you've grabbed all the treasure here, head up the stairs back to the Underground Passage. |
| 5 | Go through the doors, and after the cutscene, interact with all the items in the room. Before moving on, head back to the Safe Room to make a save. |
| 6 |  When you're ready, head through the final door to face the boss of this dungeon, Homo Jaluzo. When you're able, aim for the eyes so to reduce the accuracy of its attacks. ►Homo Jaluzo Boss Guide |
| 7 | After the boss goes down, a few cutscenes will play and you'll complete this quest as well as the The Old Castle Town Kidnapper Bounty! |
| * | During the cutscenes, Gallica will reach Follower Rank 3 and you'll unlock the Wizard Archetype! ▶︎ Gallica Bond Guide and How to Unlock |
