How to Unlock Tomb of Lament

Unlock Conditions and Deadline

From 07/24 onwards, the Tomb of Lament can be unlocked as part of the Grieving Ghost of the Goblet Bounty Quest.

Make sure to progress to this date and accept the Bounty Quest in Port Brilehaven to unlock the Tomb of Lament.

Since the Tomb of Lament is filled with Guptauros and Trove Imitec, reclassing to Archetypes with access to Ice and Light skills should make navigation easier. The most important classes to bring here are Magic Knights and Healers or Clerics, as both can cover the weaknesses of these enemies, including the dungeon boss, Fatolich.

All Archetypes and How to Unlock

Team Strategy

Before proceeding to the dungeon, make sure to reclass the Protagonist to a Magic Knight and inherit Ice skills from the Mage Archetype. This should be sufficient to deal with the Guptauros as you navigate the dungeon. If maxed out, consider inheriting a Wind skill as well.

For the boss battle, you can use Synthesis Skills from both Strohl and Hulkenberg to deal massive damage to Fatolich. It is highly recommended to take it down immediately, as it can summon a Chimeza that can use Deiamahan and heal Fatolich. This also makes it a need to bring a Magic Seeker if you do not have access to Wind skills.
