Since Catherina is weak to Fire, it’s essential for your other characters, besides the Protagonist, to inherit Fire skills from the Mage or Wizard Archetypes.
Have Hulkenberg Tank Damage
The best strategy is to have Hulkenberg tanking all damage from Catherina's single-target attacks.
Meanwhile, focus on either healing Hulkenberg or dealing maximum damage to Catherina.
Attack While Catherina Is Down
When you hit Catherina with Fire Skills and exploit her weakness, she will fall, leaving her vulnerable to your next attacks.
Use this opportunity to unleash powerful Synthesis Skills!
Same Strategy Per Battle
You will encounter Catherina three times in total, and she will grow stronger with each battle. However, that doesn't mean you won't improve as well.
For each encounter, apply the same strategy, and eventually, Catherina will cease her attempts to engage you in future battles and concede.
