Operations are the main story quests of the game. Failure to complete your mission by the deadline will result in a game over.
List of All Main Quest Walkthroughs
Quests outside of the main story are called Requests. If the request has a time limit, failing to complete this within the designated time will result in the quest being marked as Expired. When a Request expires you can no longer acquire its rewards.
