Items dropped by Humans, specifically story and dungeon bosses, can also be sold for a higher price. They serve no purpose other than being mementos from your battles, so you can safely sell them. Even the game encourages you to do so!

The Merchant is the best Archetype for farming items in Metaphor: ReFantazio. With its boosted luck and skills like Lucky Find, item acquisition is increased, allowing you to consistently get items from enemies.
Since this is a luck-based Archetype, it's best to focus on building luck when using it!
