Trial of the Dragon: Mad Mischief

Taking on the Trial of the Dragon: Mad Mischief eventually leads you to face the Devourer of Nations.

This boss battle is the simplest of all dragon bosses in the trials, allowing you to approach it with any strategy you prefer. Just keep in mind that it’s a strength-based battle, so make sure you proceed with equipment that can minimize physical damage.

Trial of the Dragon: Bygone Legacy

The Trial of the Dragon: Bygone Legacy will also have you face the Devourer of Stars.

This boss primarily uses status ailments, specifically hex and debuffs, throughout the battle. Given this, it’s best to equip Archetypes from the Healer Lineage to access Dekunda and other status ailment recovery and support skills. This also makes it a need to bring recovery items as well to conserve MP.

Trial of the Dragon: Heroes’ Rest

The Devourer of Flames is the hardest boss among all dragon trials, making the Trial of the Dragon: Heroes’ Rest the least of your priorities when tackling these side quests.

This is a fire-based battle, with the Devourer of Flames capable of wiping out your team with a move that deals 9,999 damage. However, this move can be reflected using Makarakarn, so make sure you have skills that can help you erect this with ease.

Trial of the Dragon: Essence of Power

Elegy of Soul is the boss battle in the Trial of the Dragon: Essence of Power. This trial unlocks only after completing all the mentioned dragon trials above, so you must do this last.

The gimmick in this combat is that Elegy of Soul switches to different Archetypes, generating and replacing new weaknesses each turn. It’s also not advised to bring anything that repels its moves, as it will be forced to use Armageddon's Final Sire, another skill that deals 9,999 damage!
