Royal Virtue	Description
Courage	Courage is the stat that lets you take on dangerous challenges, quests, and missions.
Wisdom	Having high Wisdom lets you asses information and unlock intellectual conversations and quests.
Tolerance	Your Tolerance stat will determine how well you treat and understand the citizens of Euchronia.
Eloquence	Having high Eloquence lets you be more articulate when it comes to expressing your ideas to the people.
Imagination	The Imagination stat deals with how good your problem-solving skills are in terms of answering the pleas of the people in the Kingdom of Euchronia.

Royal Virtues are reminiscent of the Social Stats feature in the Persona series, wherein each Royal Virtue can help you progress certain points in the game.

Royal Virtues are important to help establish Follower Bonds, and gain access to certain quests withheld by NPCs in the game.

Courage is important when it comes to raising your Royal Virtues, as it gives you access to accept certain quests if your Courage is deemed high enough.

It also enables you to get Brigitta's Guild Discount Bond Ability in the game, but only if your Courage is high enough.

Wisdom

Wisdom is also a notable Royal Virtue to increase during the early stages of the game, given that it allows you to gain Brigitta as a Follower in the game.

You can also learn to purify your equipment by raising your Wisdom Royal Virtue, enabling you to use impure equipment to their fullest potential.

Imagination allows the protagonist to progress certain dialogue from NPCs and improve Follower Bonds by reading books found on certain locations.

Finishing More's Quests and reading books from the Gauntlet Runner can help you increase your Imagination.

Eloquence will help you improve your Follower Bond with Heismay, which can help you acquire the Assassin Archetype from the Thief Archetype Lineage.

Tolerance enables you to further progress Maria's Follower Bond Rank, which can help you acquire the succeeding Archetypes from the Healer Lineage.

It is highly recommended to reach at least Rank 2 Tolerance and progress Maria's Bond as quickly as possible in order to obtain Bond Abilities that will increase experience obtained in combat.

Head to the Bookshelf located in the Gauntlet Runner and read books to raise your Royal Virtues.

Spending Time with Allies

You can spend time with your allies in the Gauntlet Runner. For example, you can do Weapon Maintenance with Strohl to raise your Courage.

Additionally, the dialogue options presented to you when conversing with your allies will also give out some points to raise your Royal Virtue.

Complete Quests

Some quests will increase certain Royal Virtues. Be on the lookout for any quests in towns in order to get those bonuses!

Participate in Town Activities

Doing activities in the town may increase your Royal Virtues. If you are unsure on what to do, you could talk to Gallica and check Town Activities.

Milk Cows

Milking cows around the town raises Tolerance.

Enjoy the Scenery

Simply relaxing and enjoying some scenic spots in the town can raise your Wisdom.

Talk to NPCs

Talking to NPCs can help you raise your Royal Virtues. They usually have an icon above their head to indicate which Royal Virtue they can help you with.

Complete the Spirited Youth Activity

An NPC named Spirited Youth will give you a challenge that can raise Courage in Martira, Old Castle Town.

Stats You Need to Raise to Gain Access to Many Features in the Game

The five Royal Virtues will decide how your run will go in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Some quests, follower ranks, and even missions need a specific level of a Royal Virtue before they can be unlocked. Thus, it is highly recommended for your to raise each of the five Royal Virtues.
