There are a total of 5 Royal Virtures in the game, all of which can allow players to access more facilities, features, and quests as they progress through the game.
Courage is the stat that lets you take on dangerous challenges, quests, and missions.
Having high Wisdom lets you asses information and unlock intellectual conversations and quests.
Your Tolerance stat will determine how well you treat and understand the citizens of Euchronia.
Having high Eloquence lets you be more articulate when it comes to expressing your ideas to the people.
The Imagination stat deals with how good your problem-solving skills are in terms of answering the pleas of the people in the Kingdom of Euchronia.
There are a number of ways to increase the Protagonist's Royal Virtues, some of which requires the player to do certain activities in town, the Gauntlet Runner, quest completion, and more!
Reading in the Gauntlet Runner will raise your Eloquence.
You can spend time with your allies in the Gauntlet Runner. For example, you can do Weapon Maintenance with Strohl to raise your Courage.
Some quests will increase certain Royal Virtues. Be on the lookout for any quests in towns in order to get those bonuses!
Doing activities in the town may increase your Royal Virtues. If you are unsure on what to do, you could talk to Gallica and check Town Activities.
Milking cows around the town raises Tolerance.
Simply relaxing and enjoying some scenic spots in the town can raise your Wisdom.
Talking to NPCs can help you raise your Royal Virtues. They usually have an icon above their head to indicate which Royal Virtue they can help you with.
An NPC named Spirited Youth will give you a challange that can raise Courage in Martira, Old Castle Town.
The five Royal Virtues will decide how your run will go in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Some quests, follower ranks, and even missions need a specific level of a Royal Virtue before they can be unlocked. Thus, it is highly recommended for your to raise each of the five Royal Virtues.
For players who played the previous Persona games, the Royal Virtues are similar to the social stats present in those games.
