Cooperative Skills Based on the Present Archetypes

Synthesis Skills are special, cooperative skills that can only be used based on the Archetypes your party has equipped.

Note that some Synthesis Skills require a pre-requisite skill from the Archetype in order to execute them. These pre-requisite skills are unlocked by raising a character's Archetype rank.

Battle System Explained

Duo and Trio Synthesis Skills

Most Synthesis Skills require two party members using Archetypes from specific Archetype Lineages, but there are also some that will require up to three party members.

Due to their special requirements, some Synthesis Skills will unique animations whenever you use them in combat!

Synthesis Skills Can Take Up to Three Moves

Synthesis Skills use the active character and the collaborator's Turn Icon. Keep this in mind when using specific Synthesis Skills and plan your moves accodingly!

How to Unlock Synthesis Skills

Face the Mauseleum Boss at 6/11

On 6/11 of the prologue, you will face a boss at the Mauseleum where Synthesis Skills will be introduced after the cutscene. From there, players will be able to make use of Synthesis Skills in combat!
