Trial of the Dragon: Bygone Legacy Walkthrough

Talk to the Enraged Mustari

To start this quest, you'll need to talk to the Enraged Mustari in Altabury's Upper Blue Sky Bridge. He'll task you with completing the first of three trials that grants you a forbidden power once they've all been completed.

Travel to the Tower of Insolence

When you're ready, head to the Gauntlet Runner and travel to the Tower of Insolence. You should have already explored this dungeon so just make your way to the top and defeat any new enemies on the way there.

Defeat the Devourer of Stars

Prepare yourself as you're about to face one of the hardest optional bosses in the game, the Devourer of Stars. Make sure your Party and late-game Archetypes are sufficiently levelled before taking on this boss.

Once the dragon goes down, you'll automatically complete this quest and get the Cardinal Dragon Armour.
