Equip Warrior Archetype to Dish Out Physical Attacks and Resist Fireball

Fire Dragon Mauna will use an attack called Fireball that deals extensive Fire damage to its target. It is for this reason that the Warrior Archetype is recommended to have in the party as it is resistant to Fire.

Having Strohl equip the Warrior Archetype ensures that one of your party members can resist the Fireball attack and act as a support when needed.

Strohl can also help deal damage towards Fire Dragon Mauna using Diagonal Slash, just so that it gets its HP lessened by other means besides Blizz.
