Character	Explanation
Protagonist	The Protagonist will be taking up the role of the Prince Archeteype and will focus on dealing the Ice Damage through the Synthesis Skill for Hadean Icecrag and Blackguard's Hammer.
Junah	Junah will be using the Royal Masked Dancer with the Saviour's Mask. she will be in charge of healing and ailment control. Have her inherit the Healer's Inisght from Healer as well.
Hulkenberg	Hulkenberg will be acting as the Dark Knight. Have her inherit Frigid Forest Tactic from the General. She will be in charge of afflicting Ice Weakness to the enemy.
Eupha	Eupha will be using the Devil Summoner and will focus on dealing damage with Summon Fairy. she will also be in charge of using items to debuff the enemy.

Feel free to swap any team members for each role. If you've built another support other than the ones mentioned above, or if you feel like using a different offensive character, go ahead and adjust the build. Just make sure your protagonist can support whoever goes in the front line.

Since the Elegy cycles through archetypes and weakness, the better way to approach this is to create a weakness for him instead. The Dark Knight Archetype will be focusing on giving it the weakness to ice with Frigid Forest Tactic. The Devil Summoner will be working in tandem with this by casting Summon Fairy (Modified).

The Prince will be a self-serving damage dealer with Blackguard's Hammer which deals dark damage while inflicting a one-time weakness for the same element. Depending on the situation, he can also use Hero's Cry to extend the party's turn. The Royal Masked Dancer will be in charge of Supporting the party with heals and debuffs.

Do Not Use Any Equipment that Can Repel Attacks

Do not use equipment that will grant you the ability to repel an attack magic or otherwise. If anyone in your party enters the battle with this effect the Elegy will instantly use Armageddon's Final Sire on its next turn. This skill will wipe out your entire party with a 9,999 damage Almighty attack.

Debuff the Elegy at Once

Make sure to debuff the Elegy as soon as possible. Letting him stack buffs across the different Archetypes will be unmanageable and will diminish your ability to do damage greatly. You can use skills like Ruin's Flameflower or items like the Amnesty Talisman to reset the enemy's stats.

Inflict Weakness Every Chance You Get

The Elegy of the Souls is a tricky opponent. It is a Dragon that copies the form of the Protagonist. The main thing to watch out for is that when its health is below 25% it will start to do Hero's Cry. When this happens you need to finish the battle quickly since there is a high chance of it doing Armageddon's Final Sire which will wipe out your party.

The easiest way to beat the Elegy is to inflict it with weakness, this ensures that you can deal the most damage that you can per turn. Once you have a pattern going, the battle's difficulty can drop as long as you are able to manage his buffs and debuffs.

Heal Every Chance You Get

Keeping your health at max is important since the Elegy is able to cast multiple hard-hitting attacks to your party almost every turn.

Be sure to heal up whenever you get the chance, or whenever you feel like a party member is about to be taken out.
