The Mage Soldiers will be buffing up Captain Klinger's defense by casting Mage Shield towards him. It is recommended that you defeat them first to prevent Captain Klinger's defense from rising.

Use Diagonal Slash From Warrior Archetype

Strohl will be awakening the Warrior Archetype at the start of the boss battle, so it is recommended that you use Diagonal Slash as it dishes out some hefty damage against Captain Klinger and his Mage Soldiers.

Resist Bot Using Warrior Archetype

Additionally, the Warrior Archetype is resistant to Fire so Strohl will be resistant to Mage Fire casted by Captain Klinger during the battle.

Have Party Member With Seeker Archetype Guard

Captain Klinger will be using Mage Fire against your party, so be sure to have the party member equipped with the Seeker Archetype Guard to lessen the damage.

The Seeker Archetype is weak against Fire, so incurring damage from Mage Fire will substantially lower the health of the wielder.

At this point in the game, the protagonist will be the only one equipped with the Seeker Archetype. Make sure to have him Guard during his last turn point.
