Character | Explanation |
---|---|
Protagonist | The Protagonist will be taking on the role of the Prince Archetype. Since the Apocalypse Dragon has no weaknesses, the best way to beat him is to create one. using the Synthesis Skill Blackguard's Hammer give them a one-time weakness to darkness. This will help boost Eupha and Heimay's attacks on their turn. For attacking the Protagonist will be using Royal Slash. |
Junah | Junah will be taking up the Royal Masked Dancer Archetype with the Soul Hacker's Mask, on top of this she should also Inherit Vidyartha from Trickster. She will be in charge of supporting the group with buffs and debuffs. She will also be inflicting one-time weaknesses using her skills. |
Eupha | Eupha will be using the Royal Summoner Archetype. Will be dealing heavy to extreme elemental damage but her main role will be to enable a variety of synthesis skills for the party. |
Heismay | Heismay will be taking on the Royal Thief Archetype. Ideally, you can equip him with the accessory to successive turns. Heismay will be using Dark Skill to deal heavy-extreme damage, this damage will also be improved once the prince uses Blackguard's Hammer. |

This battle will require some setup since the Apocalypse Dragon does not have any weaknesses. Utilize the skills from the Prince and Royal Masked Dancer Archetype and inflict one-time weaknesses on the enemy. This will allow your party to hit harder on their turn. On the first round, the Prince can cast Hero's Cry to extend your turn with four additional turn icons.
The Royal Masked Dancer's main role will be to provide support. Debuff the enemy with Vidyartha and buff your party with Heat Riser to improve your damage capabilities. The Royal Summoner will adjust her attack on whichever weakness is currently inflicted on the enemy.

|
This boss is though! Make sure to set your team up properly before you enter the battle. At the point where it is recommended that you battle the Apocalypse Dragon you should be on your higher levels (level 70 and up). Make sure to take advantage of the skills that you can inherit from other archetypes, have your best equipment for the party you are taking, and stock up on items that can help you in battle, and have a strategy in mind once you enter the battle.
The Apocalypse Dragon does not have any weaknesses, they are also very tanky and can hit hard. When you can make sure to inflict weaknesses with skills like Blackguard's Hammer and Hellfire Dance to increase the damage your party can deal the enemy.
The use of support skills can make or break this battle. Utilize Hero's Cry to extend your turn giving you more chance to prep your party. Debuff the enemy with Vidyartha to decrease their attack and boost your team with Heat Riser and Hero's Proving.
Don't limit yourself to your skills! There are a lot of items in the game that can improve your chances of winning the battle. Not just recovery items but food that can boost stats or scrolls that deal damages and effects are useful to have and use during this battle.
Try to finish the battle quickly if you can. Like the Prince Archetype the Apocalypse Dragon has the ability to give themselves more turn icons the only difference is that he can do this more than once in battle, try to defeat the dragon before this happens.
