Zorba is a boss that can be fought during the Necromancer Takedown Quest in Metaphor: Refantazio. Read on to learn how to beat Zorba, weaknesses, rewards, as well as the recommended party setup and Archetypes to use against Zorba.

Zorba is the end bosses of the Necromancer Takedown main quest in the Regalith Grand Cathedral. As this is a main quest, defeating Zorba has a deadline of 06/21. Make sure to defeat him before the given date. Otherwise, the game will result in a game over.

Zorba has no weaknesses and is resistant to Fire, Ice, Electric, and Wind damage, rendering the Seeker and Mage ineffective in this battle. It’s best to approach this combat with other available Archetypes, such as the Brawler, Healer, and Knight, as recommended below.

As this is an early game boss fight, the fight against Zorba will limit you to having only Strohl and Hulkenberg in your team. Other party members will join you only in later chapters.

Zorba is pretty much resistant to Fire, Ice, Electric, and Wind, so the battle will mostly be decided on how much damage your physical skills can dish out. Use Hama from the Healer Archetype to take out the Corpesthrall he summons during battle.
Jump Thrust from the Knight Archetype is a recommended attack against Zorba, as it deals a substantial amount of damage while also lowering Zorba's defense for 3 turns.
Use the Round Slash Synthesis Skill from the Warrior Archetype to attack all enemies present during battle, which can be convenient if Zorba has summoned some Corpesthrall to accompany him.

Use Hama Against Summoned Corpesthrall
Zorba will be summoning Corpesthrall during battle, so it is recommended that you use Hama from the Healer Archetype against them to exploit their weakness. Hama also inflicts normal damage to Zorba, which means that it can be used against him as well.
Use Jump Thrust Synthesis Skill
The Jump Thrust Synthesis Skill from the Knight Archetype can deal a substantial amount of damage against Zorba, while also lowering his Defense in battle for 3 turns.
Since physical skills will be your bread and butter throughout this fight, you might as well make it more lethal for Zorba to have them.
Use Round Slash to Damage All Enemies
If Zorba manages to summon several Corpesthrall during battle, you can try disposing of them by using the Round Slash Synthesis Skill from the Warrior Archetype.
Round Slash can be more effective if you happen to use Jump Thrust before it, as it lowers Zorba's defense in battle.
Heal Allies Using Medi
Use Medi from the Healer Archetype to heal all your allies in battle, as Zorba and his Corpesthrall minions will try to damage all your members during battle.
