Allocate 1 Stat Point Per Level Up

Every time you level up, you get a chance to allocate one point on a stat. For example, if you want your Mage Archetype to deal more damage, then it's best to invest in Magic.

As for leveling up, you can do this by defeating enemies and gaining EXP!

Fixed Stat Increase Included

On top of allocating one stat point per level up, there are also fixed stat boosts for the protagonist that cannot be allocated. This is to ensure that the protagonist is somewhat balanced still, regardless of however the player allocates their stat points.

Are Base Stats Fixed?

Dependent on the Q&A Portion at the Recruitment Centre

Once you arrive at the Royal Capital, the main character will immediately enlist in the military via the Recruitment Centre. Depending on the protagonist's responses, there will be an increase towards a certain stat.

Party Screen from Main Menu

You can easily check all of your party members' stat on the party screen. Make sure to hover over a specific party member and click details. This should reveal a character's stats.
