Character Stats are crucial numbers, especially when dealing with strong enemies in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Read on to learn about Character Stats, how it works, stat allotment, and more!

Stats Explained
Allocate 1 Stat Point Per Level Up
Every time you level up, you get a chance to allocate one point on a stat. For example, if you want your Mage Archetype to deal more damage, then it's best to invest in Magic.
As for leveling up, you can do this by defeating enemies and gaining EXP!
Fixed Stat Increase Included
On top of allocating one stat point per level up, there are also fixed stat boosts for the protagonist that cannot be allocated. This is to ensure that the protagonist is somewhat balanced still, regardless of however the player allocates their stat points.

Once you arrive at the Royal Capital, the main character will immediately enlist in the military via the Recruitment Centre. Depending on the protagonist's responses, there will be an increase towards a certain stat.

Strength, Magic, Endurance, Agility, and Luck
| Character Stat | Description |
|---|---|
| Strength | Determines physical damage to enemies. |
| Magic | Determines magical damage to enemies. |
| Endurance | Lowers damages you take from enemies. |
| Agility | Basis for how successful you hit, evade, or escape an enemy or battle. |
| Luck | Raises item acquisition rate, and how often you crit. |
Character Stats are crucial numbers that will immensely help you when you fight enemies, especially the ones you'll encounter in the latter part of the game. Additionally, a character's stats will also decide their role in your party.
How to Check Stats
Party Screen from Main Menu
You can easily check all of your party members' stat on the party screen. Make sure to hover over a specific party member and click details. This should reveal a character's stats.
