A young man of the clemar tribe met at the Recruitment Centre in Grand Trad. A genial youth who values justice with a good head on his shoulders.

He comes from a noble family but seems to have complex circumstances that led him to enlist in the army, typically a commoner profession. Though new recruits grumble at being ordered to refer to each other by their surnames in order to prevent overfamiliarity, Strohl doesn't seem to mind.

After defeating Captain Klinger in Nord Mines, Strohl's bond automatically unlocks as you progress through the cutscene. This specifically happens during 06/06, with Captain Klinger serving as the first boss you encounter while navigating the area in the prologue.

Rank Ability Description
1 Warrior Archetype The party can now study the Warrior.
2 Warrior Enlightenment Reduces the MAG cost of studying the Warrior Lineage.
2 Undaunted Spirit When Strohl attacks a human-type monster, critical rate increases.
3 Warrior Archetype: Adept The party can now study the Swordmaster.
4 Scion's Skill (Warrior) Increases skill inheritance slots for the Warrior Lineage to 2.
5 Warrior Veneration Significantly reduces the MAG cost of studying the Warrior Lineage.
5 Battle Aura (Warrior) While in reserve, the amount of experience Strohl gains increases.
6 Scion's Merit (Warrior) Increases skill inheritance slots for the Warrior Lineage to 3.
6 Battle Hypnosis (Warrior) While in reserve, Strohl will gain experience at the normal rate.
7 Warrior Archetype: Elite The party can now study the Samurai.
8 Scion's Essence (Warrior) Increases skill inheritance slots for the Warrior Lineage to 4.
8 Slayer of Humans When Strohl attacks a human-type monster, critical rate greatly increases.
8 Grand Fantasy (Warrior) Strohl is ready to acquire a new Heroic Embodiment.
