Hatching a Plan Walkthrough

Talk to the Gloomy Youth

To start this quest, talk to the Gloomy Youth in Thoroughfare Square. You can do this as soon as you are free to explore Martira. After accepting any other Side Quests in the area, make your way to the Gauntlet Runner to leave for Komero.

Buy a Practical Pigeon Parcel in Komero

Once you get to Komero, select Buy and go to the Key Item tab to purchase the Practical Pigeon Parcel. After that, you can leave the town to head back to Martira.

Return to the Gloomy Youth

The only thing left to do is head back to Thoroughfare Square and talk to the Gloomy Youth. This will complete the quest and you can claim your rewards.
