All Gold Beetle Locations

Gold Beetles are collectible items that can be traded for equipment later on in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Read on to learn more about the 49 Gold Beetle locations, what they're used for, and the trophy unlocked for collecting them all!

	1	Northern Border Fort, Camp	Obtained at the Camp after clearing the Northern Border Front.
	2	Grand Trad, Sunshade Row	Behind the stairs near the Armor shop.
	3	Grand Trad, Recruitment Centre	Passage on the left after entering
	4	Grand Trad, Comfort Concoctions	Inside the bag to the right of the entrance
	5	Belega Corridor, Basement 3F	On the other side of the iron grate (go through the hidden passage to the other side)
	6	Tradia Desert, Traveler's Graveyard	Near the rock in the northeast
	7	Calendra Region, Imp's Den	Found on a log in the northwestern area of Imp's Den.

What Are Gold Beetles Used For?

Traded For Equipment

After collecting Gold Beetles, you can trade them for equipment by talking to the Old Man in Port Brilehaven.

The Old Man will give you better equipment as you earn more Beetles. The last reward you can earn from the Old Man can be aqcuired by reaching 46 Beetles.

Missable Gold Beetles

3 Gold Beetles Are Missable

While there are a total of 49 Gold Beetles in the game, the final reward, and the Trophy Achievement are both awarded after obtaining 46 Gold Beetles.

The three missable Golden Beetles are all found in Story Areas that you cannot return to after you finish them.

Collecting 46 Gold Beetles out of the total of 49 allows you to trade for all the items that the Old Man in Port Brilehaven offers, and gives you the All That Glitters Trophy in the process.

Three out of the 49 Gold Beetles are missable, but missing them does not negatively affect your chances of getting all the equipment or the Trophy Achievement.
