New Game Plus

After completing the game for the first time, you will unlock the New Game+, allowing you to replay the game with much of your progress intact. This includes carrying over your Money, MAG, Items, Equipment, Archetype Progression (except for Grius), and Royal Virtues. Your play time is also preserved in the new save.

However, Quest Progression will not carry over, meaning you'll need to replay all main and side quests from the beginning in New Game+.

New Difficulty : Regicide

Clearing the game unlocks a tougher difficulty level called Regicide Difficulty. This is more challenging than hard mode, where enemies deal triple damage when hitting your weaknesses, and you receive fewer rewards after battles.

Outside of combat, this difficulty won't affect gameplay. However, do note that choosing this difficulty mode won't allow you to change difficulties afterwards.

Superboss Unlocked

A secret boss, the Redscale Dragon, becomes available after completing the game. You can challenge this superboss by visiting the Akademeia and examining the Book of Revelations.

It is best to note that the superboss won't appear if you are playing on the Storyteller difficulty.

Play in Regicide Mode

After beating the game, challenge yourself by trying the Regicide Difficulty.

This mode tests your battle strategy as enemies deal more damage, especially when hitting your weaknesses, and are generally tougher.

Defeat Superboss

The Redscale Dragon becomes available post-game. Access this powerful secret boss through the Book of Revelations in the Akademeia.

Prepare well, as this battle will test your limits.

Max All Bond Ranks

With your Royal Virtues carried over, focus on maxing out all Bond Ranks.

If there are any left, use this opportunity to unlock the remaining virtues and build stronger relationships with your Followers.

Complete All Side Quests

Now that you're stronger, it's the perfect time to complete any side quests you may have missed in your first playthrough.

Revisit any missable quests and enjoy a more powerful journey through the game.

Collect Every Treasure in Dungeons

If you left behind any treasure chests or missed powerful weapons in dungeons during your first run, now's the time to collect them all in your second playthrough.

Complete the Gold Beetles

With a total of 49 Gold Beetles to find, including 3 missable ones, this is your chance to complete the collection.

Thankfully, your progress with the Gold Beetles carries over, so you can continue from where you left off.

Watch All Endings

There are 4 different endings in Metaphor: ReFantazio. If you haven't seen them all yet, take the time to experience each one, including the True Ending.

Get the Platinum Trophy

Platinum	The Traveller
	Acquired all trophies.

To unlock the Platinum Trophy, you'll need to complete the game again.

The main post-game trophy to focus on is Closing the Book, which requires you to defeat the secret boss.
