Use Wind and Pierce Skills
The Psyocropos is weak against Wind and Pierce so take advantage of this weakness to gain extra Turn Icons and deal extra damage.
Since the Protagonist also has access to skills like Soulblade Rider, he can also use this to deal big damage while bypassing any weaknesses.
Avoid killing both Goborn Sidekicks
The Psyocropos will be joined with two Goborn Sidekicks who will assist in bringing the party down. These Goborns use different kinds of party-wide elemental magic, and prior to the battle, NPCs will inform you that it's best for you to keep these subordinates alive before killing the Psyocropos.
It's possible to kill one of the Goborns to lessen their firepower while keeping Psyocropos in check, so we suggest tunneling Psyocropos and one of the Goborns during the battle.
Focus on defeating Psyocropos First
Since killing the Goborns first will trigger Psyocropos to use his skill that adds Turn Icons during his turn, focusing on Psyocropos will not give it a chance to use this move.
It will use a lot of Strike moves so use healing skills to keep your HP up to be able to tank these attacks.
