Though this might seem confusing at first, the three turns rule doesn't refer to the typical turn count, where each character in your party gets one turn. Instead, it's about three rounds of exchanging blows between your entire team and Sergeant Xanth.

So, each round includes all characters and the boss acting once. Because of this, you’ll need to defeat him as quickly as possible within those three rounds, or risk failing the objective.
