List of Contents

Fae Sight is a mechanic in the game similar to Persona 5's Third Eye. It allows the player to use Gallica's sight to check enemy difficulty relative to your level at a glance through assigning colors.
Learning to regularly use this tactic will allow you to choose your battles carefully.

Stunning enemies in the overworld will give players an advantage once Squad Combat has been executed. While they are recovering, targeting their weaknesses will be your bread and butter throughout the game.
In addition to dealing more damage, hitting their weakness or dealing critical hit will half your use of a Press Turn which allows us to do more moves on your turn.

Once you are leveled up to some point, you can dispel enemies to raise your level and Archetype rank fast in the overworld without the need to engage in Squad Combat.
This will give you the same amount of EXP, MAG and Reeves as when you engage in Squad Battles, but you will not receive the Unscathed Triumph bonus, which is a Squad Battle exclusive bonus that adds to your rewards if you come out the battle unharmed.
How to Increase Archetype Rank Fast

Archetypes is Metaphor Re:Fantazio's main job and class system found in JRPGs. This allows you and your party members to transform into different beings that specialize in different aspects of battle depending on which one you equip.
Archetypes can specialize in melee attacks, magic or healing spells, defensive stances or support moves.
There are 14 basic Archetype lineages in the game and forming and strengthening your bonds with your Followers will increase this number!

Formations allows you to position your party members on the Front or Back row.
There are some attacks and moves by enemies and bosses that will only target one row at a time and you will need to position your party favorably for it.
Positioning different Archetypes in the Front or Back row will determine how much damage they will take with these attacks.

If you don't like how the battle is going. there is a Retry command for you to be able to turn back time and retry the battle. Don't be afraid to use this feature as it rewinds to right before you engage in battle!

Followers provide valuable skills and perks for completing their ranks. Some provide discounts in shops, additional EXP off battle, or removes time to cook dishes in the Gauntlet Runner. Make sure to take time and bond with your followers to gain these perks.
Follower Guide: How to Unlock All Bonds

The Royal Virtues are similar to Persona's Social Stats. Doing activities and quests will slowly raise these 5 stats required for unlocking certain bonds and features in game. Take time to upgrade these stats so that you don't miss out on activities or Followers throughout the game!
All Royal Virtues and Priority

On days divisible by 5, use the toilet to get a free Luck stat boost! The toilet is located in the Gauntlet Runner and can be used at any time of the day.
