Though she can become heated when her personal values are tested, she is a reassuring travel companion.

Though new recruits grumble at being ordered to refer to each other by their surnames in order to prevent overfamiliarity, Strohl doesn't seem to mind.

Given her social status, she was called by her family name during her travels, which she has become completely accustomed to, to the point that she introduces herself that way.

Though mustari are naturally adept at magic, her senses are especially keen in that her third eye allows her to clearly perceive the flow of magla.

Like Junah, Eupha will only bond with the protagonist after completing her related side quest. To start her bond, complete the Trial of Malnova, specifically after clearing the Obtain Drakodios Main Quest.

He comes from a noble, highly respected family with a stately mission in Grand Trad, but as he shows absolutely no interest in social status or family prestige, he is dismissed by his family as an unmanageable oddball.

To start bonding with Neuras, simply head to Komero Village once you reach Martira. This automatically completes Providing a Spark, the quest needed to start Neuras's bond.

Some speculate this meritocratic inclination stems from personal history, but the truth is anyone's guess.

Some followers offer unique bond abilities that provide various effects in combat and world exploration. You can unlock these by progressing their bond ranks!
Follower Final Chat Rewards
All Final Chat Rewards
You can hold final chats with all your followers before the major events of October. The only requirement you need here is to make sure they're at Rank 8, and unlike other hangout rewards, you can visit all followers! Talking to them rewards you with more MAG and a special item after.

Progress the Story to Meet Followers
You can unlock and meet more followers to bond with as you progress through the story. Followers become available as early as the Prologue, with More being the first on the list.

Special Interactions with Followers
Bonds serve as the Confidants or Social Links of Metaphor: ReFantazio. These are chains of interactions that allow you to get to know each character as you progress. Along the way, you'll unlock Bond Abilities, which reward you with several bonuses, including unlocking Archetype evolutions and combat abilities.
